Essential oils are very effective in the treatment of bronchitis and chest infections. Accurate diagnosis is always advised, so before embarking on a self-treatment protocol it is best to visit your doctor.

Applying essential oils to the skin is safe in most cases but if you are new to essential oils it is advisable to spot check first. If you do get a rash or reaction to the blend, try spot testing individual oils to determine which oil or oils you are reacting to.
Applying small amounts on a regular basis is far more effective than basting yourself, so I recommend applying a small amount of the blend every two to three hours.
If after 2 or 3 days there is no improvement in your condition please refer to your primary healthcare practitioner.
